A little history
2019
Construction of the airfield began in 2019 as part of SibAeroCraft’s programme to develop general and regional aviation in Siberia.
2020
The airfield has welcomed and serviced private aircraft since 2020.
Even before its official opening, the airfield joined the federal Taiga project, which organises unmanned aircraft operations for social and industrial applications.

On 10 August 2021, the airfield was officially named after Valery Chkalov, a test pilot and Hero of the Soviet Union.
The official opening took place on 13 August 2021, the day the first passenger flight operated by SiLA Airlines landed on its runway.

2023
On 24 May, SibAeroCraft held an aviation festival at its airfield named after V. P. Chkalov.
It was a significant event for the Tomsk region: a new TVS-2MS aircraft, built to order for SibAeroCraft LLC, was unveiled.
